Denise Geestman

Born and raised in an Amsterdam entrepreneurial family. It was inevitable that I would become an entrepreneur myself. That's how I was raised, it's in my genes.

Since 2018, I've been working as a Freelance Event Coordinator. I've been part of recurring events such as the Dutch Grand Prix - Formule 1, Dutch Open - Golf, and TEFAF - The European Fine Art Fair. These were amazing projects which I enjoyed a lot.
 

In April 2020, Covid turned the world upside down, leading to the cancellation of all my events. Sitting still was not an option for me. I came up with the idea of selling authentic paella, and that's how my catering company was born: A Fuego - The Paella Experience.

The Paella Experience is an event where authentic paellas are prepared in the traditional way, on an open fire, either at your home or another desired location, by a private chef.

Since October 2023, I've been offering my services as a virtual assistant to thirds. When I decided to start my own business in 2018, I transformed myself, not knowing, into my own VA. Due to Covid, my job as an Event Coordinator disappeared, and I had all the time in the world. I invested this time in self-development. Learning something new is one of my passions.
